Hello. It’s been awhile. I am still here!

For the last two years I have been focused on getting my health back on track and my voice solid as well. Still a work in progress, but getting there.

Heading into the studio next week to record a new song, which will be a mid tempo with a dusty desert vibe. This year I will be investing much more time into myself and creativity overall.

Today was very special! Justin @btownsound was booked with an in studio session with @joelparisien_ and I was asked to film a podcast interview for the Paul Wells Show @inklesspw. Since Justin was busy we asked @waynes_world to record the @rikemmett interview and guitar performance.

Great afternoon at Rik’s house in Burlington listening to his stories, music, and chatting over lunch that he kindly provided for us :)

We may not have a farm, but we shall work together in the kitchen, make our own banana bread, homemade laundry and dish detergent and so much more to come.

If we cannot change outward then we look inward to God and our family for peace.

When I was 13 years old, I opened up for @lorettalynnofficial at Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum and The Toronto International Centre. Two shows with the legendary singer!

I was so young and didn’t even appreciate how important it was and rare to perform at these venues in front of 17 thousand people.

I knew she wore large ball gowns, so I did the same minus the pouf. I still have the dress in my closet as a keepsake.

When we met I literally had nothing to say. I said I liked her movie and smiled, but nothing else came to mind! I don’t know why that happens. I wish I could have said more. She was a lovely lady to me.

Opening for Loretta Lynn is one of my greatest accomplishments as a singer. Forever grateful. Meet you in heaven one day 😇
